According to the details, PEC has decided to cancel the entrance test for engineering students. In all universities, the admission process of undergraduate programs started. On August 16, the Commission of Science and Technology for Sustainable Development COMSATS granted permission from PEC to conduct the BS entrance test. But due to the prevailing condition of Coronavirus, the PEC decided to admit students of BS without taking any ECAT exam. Pakistan Engineering Council approved the request of COMSATS.
Now the Pakistan Engineering Council waived off the entrance test requirement for admission in all campuses including Islamabad Campus, Lahore Campus, Abbottabad, Wah, Attock, Sahiwal and Vehari Campus.

- Matric / Equivalent: 20%
- FSc/Equivalent: 40%
- Elective Basic Science Subjects: 40% (Maths/Biology, Physics, Chemistry/Computer Science)
