SZABMU MBBS and BDS Admissions 2020-21
Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad announced the MBBS and BDS admissions 2020-21. So, those who have passed MDCAT 2020 can apply for the MBBS/BDS degree. SZABMU is a public sector having a Medical and dental institute. However, for the admission, the university portal is now active so that you can apply till 08 January 2021.
Under the SZABMU, the following two colleges come:
- Federal medical college, Islamabad
- School of Dentistry, Islamabad

Eligibility Criteria
SZABMU has announced the eligibility criteria according to the PMC admission regulation 2020-21.
- For Open Merit Seats
- Candidates having Pakistan and AJK nationality can apply.
- Candidates must have min. 65% (715/110) marks in FSc
- Candidates must have min. 60% (120/200) marks on PMC-MDCAT 2020
Documents required for Open merit/Quota seats
- HSSC pre-medical certificate scanned copy
- Scanned copy of domicile certificate
- Proof of residence/property in the region of domicile
- CNIC/B-Form of candidates
- A recent photograph of candidates with Blue background
- Scanned copy of Paid challan form
- Hifz-e-Quran Certificate
Additional Required documents for quota
- Disability certificate from the specialist working hospital
- Scanned copy of employment certificate by a federal government institute
Merit Determination In SZABMU
For the admissions in SZABMU, the university will follow this weightage formula:
- FSc 50%
- MDCAT Entry Test 50%
How to Apply for SZABMU
Candidates can apply by visiting the SZABMU website and through the following procedure.
- Click on the link admissions in public sector Medical and Dental College.
- Then register yourselves by entering valid CNIC and email address. After registration, complete the application form. The form will contain the following sections:
- Personal information
- Print challan
- MDCAT 2020 result information
- Academic information
- Scanned copy of required documents
- Apply for program
- Applicants have to print of challan and deposit fee Rs 3000/- at any nearest HBL Branch.
- After completing the application, submit it.
