The wait is finally over. An applicant eagerly waiting for the HAT admissions will now get ready. According to the details, the Higher Education Commission HEC announced the Higher Education Aptitude Test registration schedule for session 2022. Every year, the Education Testing Council (ETC) conducts the HAT test to award all HEC scholarships and for admission to MS/M Phil programs through a uniform, accessible, and transparent selection process. Applicants who want admission will now have a chance to apply before 12th September 2022. However, applicants who already applied for HEC MS/M. Phil admission or scholarship will now be eligible to apply for admission. The test will be held on 25th September 2022
Who Apply For Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT)?
- Applicants who have already applied to MS and M.Phil programs or any scholarship program will also be able to apply via e-portal for the final selection process.
- Those who are interested in securing admission in MS/M Phil programs in public and private universities of Pakistan

- Karachi
- Quetta
- Gilgit
- Muzaffarabad
Applying Procedure of HEC Aptitude Test (HAT):-
- Those who want to register themselves should visit the following link ( http://etc.hec.gov.pk/)
- While applying, this process will go through the following two steps. One is profiled submission Using the My Profile section, and the other is application submission using the “Higher Education Aptitude Test” links on the menu panel on the left-hand sidebar of the online portal.
- Applicants showing correct details will only consider for the test.
- Applications in SAVE or INCOMPLETE mode will not be entertained.
- The HAT test fee is Rs 1500/-. Candidates will deposit the fee in Habib Bank Limited Account No. 1742 7900 1334 01. Title of Account: Higher Education Commission
- Deposit the test Fee in the bank while registering for the test at http://etc.hec.gov.pk. (Fee challan is only available on the ETC online registration portal).
- The test fee is non-refundable
