Join PMA As Nautical & Engineering Cadet
Pakistan Marine Academy announced a notification regarding joining the academy as a nautical and engineering cadet 2022-23. It will be the 60th batch of the cadets. It is the most awaited admission in the Navy for those who want to join the force after FSc pre-engineering. Thus, all unmarried Pakistani males are eligible to apply. So, all those applicants who want to join the Pak Marine Academy should apply before the deadline. The required qualification is FSc pre-engineering, while the last date for the registration is 22 October 2021.

Eligibility Criteria to Join Pak Marine Academy
- Qualification: FSC pre-engineering or A/O-Level will Physics, Chemistry & Maths with at least 55% marks
- The result awaiting candidates with 60% marks in FSc part-I can also apply by submitting the HOPE Certificate.
- O/A Level candidates have to submit equivalence certificates
- Age limit: 20 years on 31 December 2021 (21 years for the Fata/ AJK/ Gilgit Baltistan candidates).
- Height: 5 Feet 4 Inches
- Gender and marital status: Only unmarried males
- Those candidates who have dual nationality have to surrender all other nationalities.
Selection Criteria for Pak Marine Academy
- Candidates have to pass the entry test with at least 45% marks.
- The hired Testing Service will conduct the Test in Abbottabad, Gwadar, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Muzaffarabad (AJK), Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, and Sukkur centres.
- Shortlisted candidates will go for the medical examination in Amr/Navy/PAF Hospitals.
- The final selection will be based on merit, including interview and PET.
PET (Physical Examination Test)
- Running: 01 miles in 8:30 minutes
- Push-ups: 10 repetitions in 02 minutes
- sits-ups: 10 repetitions in 02 minutes
- chin-ups: 02 repetitions in 02 minutes

The candidates will get the different 37 scholarships in the Pakistan Marine Academy that are:
- 33 Need-Based Scholarships by Ministry of Maritime Affairs
- 06 for Sindh
- 15 for Balochistan
- 06 for KPK
- 06 for Punjab
- 04 Need-Based Scholarships by Global Radiance Group of Companies
How To Apply for Pak Marine Academy
- A prospectus with an admission form is available on the Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA) website.
- Candidates must submit the pay order/bank draft of Rs 2500/- in favour of Pakistan Marine Academy, Karachi, NBP, PMA Branch Code-0239.
- Candidates who will apply under the Self Finance Scheme (SFS) have to deposit extra Rs 300,000/-. However, SFS fees are refundable on open-merit selection.
