Eligibility Criteria:-

An applicant who applies must meet the following eligibility criteria before applying

• The candidate must not be the Chinese citizen
• The candidate must be physically and mentally fit
• For the master’s program, the candidate must have a bachelor degree
• For doctoral programs, an applicant must have a Master Degree program 

Applying Procedure:-

• The interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official Shanghai Jiao Tong University
• The candidate has to submit an application fee of RMB 800 which will be non-refundable.
• There are two ways to applying for a scholarship. One is through university and the second one is online Chinese Embassy/Consulates in the home country.
• The applicant who applies through an embassy must consult with the embassy for the application schedule, eligibility criteria, and requirements.
• Applicants who applied for the School of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, are required to contact the supervisor and get an acceptance letter from their chosen supervisor.
