UHS MDCAT 2019 Entry Test Date, Instructions & Syllabus

The UHS MDCAT date announced is August 25. The students who have applied for MDCAT are now being worried about the test as there are only a few days left for preparation. Our key advice to students is not to panic and make as many revisions as you can.

MDCAT represents the Medical and Dental College Admission Test. Formerly it was MCAT (Medical College Admission Test), but since 2017 it is called MDCAT. This test is held by the University of Health Sciences (UHS) every year in Punjab, and a large number of students participate in this test. This test is mandatory to pass for every student seeking admission in public or private Medical universities. The primary purpose of this test is to check the capabilities of applicants wishing for doing MBBS and BDS. Without taking this test, the admission applications of students are entirely rejected as this test is compulsory.

MDCat Important Instructions

1. You must reach your examination center half an hour before the commencement of the test. The test will start at 9:00 a.m, so you have to be there at 8:30 a.m. The centers are sealed at 9:15 a.m. Know very well that you can’t afford to be late.
2. Do not forget to take these things with you.
3. Original CNIC card (Photocopy is cot accepted)
4. Print out of Admit card issued by UHS
5. A clean clipboard and two ballpoint pens (Markers, pointers, pencils etc. are not allowed.)
6. Revise your notes thoroughly.
7. Revise important formulas of Mathematics and Physics on your fingertips.
8. Have a good sleep a night before the test.
9. Have a nice water intake.

• Time duration to attempt the paper shall be 150 minutes (2hrs 30 minutes).
• Each question shall carry one mark with no negative marking.
