UHS TO REVISE MBBS MERIT LIST
The complaints about merit being ignored and the submissions of non-deserving candidates have raised very much, considering that the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) decided to consider a new order of presence for all private medical and dental institutions of Punjab from the candidates. This step is taken to ensure that all admissions would be done on merit and no non-deserving candidate should be given a chance.

For this, the PMDC has opened a new web portal in which the fresh and new order of preference would be submitted. https://www.bop.eom.pk/UHS/Private/Logln.aspx This portal will be activated on 28th February 2020 at 9 am and will close on 2nd March 2020 at 5 pm.
This portal will be only accessible to the students who are eligible to submit their new order of preference for all private medical and dental institutions.

Here is the eligibility list, If you match these points then you are eligible to submit your fresh preference order, otherwise you are not.
- The candidates who are currently studying/admitted to any private medical and dental institution during this session.
- The candidates who had submitted the fee before and were on any selection list.
- The candidates in the waiting lists of MBBS and BOS ( 500 each, that is, for MBBS, Provisional Merit Number 7005 – 7504, for BOS, Provisional Merit Number 3254 – 3753, as per Provisional Merit Lists displayed on 17th October 2019), can also access the portal and submit fresh Order of Preference for colleges.
The order of preference once submitted cannot be changed and would be considered as the final one.
The Fist preference will lead the applicants to be assessed and ranked according to their own merit. A computerized process will allocate the candidates to their preferred colleges according to their position in the merit list.
Once allocated to a college of the highest list, the candidate cannot demand a college which is named lower in his/her preference list.
The candidates would be only considered for the colleges which they would have written in their preference list.
Candidates are not applied to list one college more than 1 time on the portal. Selecting more than 1 time would not increase their chance to get their desired college.
This process is free of cost and no charges would be charged
The credits and deposited fee would be transferable in case of upgrading/downgrading
