Applicants studying at AIOU institute will now avail this golden opportunity online. The AIOU PDP provides an opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. degree (in the following priority areas) from the University of Leicester, UK. Once they successfully pass the Ph.D. degree through scholarship, they wil be appointed as scholars in the Assistant Professor (BPS-19) position at Allama Iqbal Open University.

AIOU Scholarship Criteria:-
Applicants who fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria can apply.
- Applicant having AJK National having MS/M.Phil degree with a minimum of 3.00/4.00 CGPA / 70% (Semester System) or 60% marks in the Annual system.
- The maximum age limit is 30 years.
- Must obtain MS/M.Phil Degree on or before the closing date.
AIOU Score Weightage:-

- Academic Qualification -as per Academic Evaluation 100 35% Formula
- one General – as per Qualifying Score, 60%
- Research Proposal -Qualifying Marks 60%- 50 10%
- Panel Interview- Qualifying marks are 60 20%
AIOU Shortlisting Criteria:-
- Before applying, the applicant must understand the complete Road Map of PDP available on the AIOU website (www.aiou.edu.pk)
- The candidate can apply online through the AIOU Job Portal.
- Applicants must submit documents in hard form.
- Candidate should ensure valid GRE/HAT (General) result
- Applicant must provide a valid phone number to avoid defy in correspondence.
- Applicants working on a regular or contract basis in Government/Semi-Government and Autonomous Bodies shall resign from the previous job.
