AIOU E-Registers 100,000 Tutors
According to the latest notification,it is to notify all that Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU has registered the 100,000 qualified and experienced teachers/faculty members. The purpose of recruiting members is to provide quality education to the 1.4 Million students. They hired a part-time tutor in this regard. Prof. Dr. Zia Ul-Qayuum, Vice Chancellor, AIOU main aim to hire the highly qualified tutors is to facilitate and offer world class education. However, on Friday the university advertised registration of tutors through national mass media.
About thousands of applicants applied for this tutor vacant positions but the university shortlisted highly qualified and experienced teachers through a transparent procedure to teach/guide its students.
Apart from this, AIOU also issued the statement that tutors only hired because of providing online education due to COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, we convert the manual system to automation. However, AIOU has successfully digitalized the admission, examination, and other departments. The workshops of different graduates and postgraduates conducted online on Aaghi LMS Portal.All the regional offices of the University across the country have started the allotment of tutors from this central database for the students.
