Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad is one of the universities working to assist the students by providing modern ICT means. The university offers various regular and distance learning programs. A lot of students enrolled in the university every year. So, to facilitate AIOU tries its best to facilitate the students.
Over the past 02 years, the university assists its around 1.4 million students by introducing the latest Information Communication Technology. The university uses ICT not only at the administration level but also at the academic level. This year, in the spring 2020 semester, AIOU conducted workshops of all programs online.
Other than that, to make this initiative of the latest ICT successful, the university hired well-trained and qualified resource persons. AIOU hired them through the TAS (Tutor Allocation System) from the e-registered tutors’ data.
Not only this, but AIOU also took various initiatives for the students. Such as the university starts the facility of online admission through which students can easily enrol themselves. The university also started to upload the books on the website in PDF format.
So, we can say that the Allama Iqbal Open University is working hard to facilitate and assist their students to a greater extent.
