Azad Jammu & Kashmir government is offering a scholarship to the citizens of AJK. Students who have cleared the Annual exams of 2020 are encouraged to apply for the scholarship. Students of both Government & Private institutes of AJK are eligible to apply. Scholarships are available for the Primary, Middle, Secondary, Inter, BS, MA, MSc, M.Phill & Ph.D. courses. The previously announced date for submission of the application is 26th December 2020. But it is extended. Students meeting the eligibility criteria will now apply till 15 February 2021.
The aim of providing scholarship is to raise the economic status of deserving students & providing them more opportunities to achieve their dreams. Once they get the chance, they will surely leave no stone unturned to enlighten the name of family & country. This scholarship is merit-based. Candidates fulfilling the criteria of merit get the reward in the end.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the AJK State Talent Scholarship is below:
- The candidate must be a citizen of AJK state.
- Regular students of Government or Private institutions are eligible to apply.
- Candidates should have appeared in Exams 2020.
- The candidate has to meet the criteria of merit below:
- 90% marks for the students of Primary, Middle & Elementary class.
- 85% marks for the students of Matric class.
- 80% marks for the students of Inter class.
- 70% marks in BA/BSc, MA/MSc, M.Phill & Ph.D. exams.
- Candidates enrolled in the program need to score 60% marks for the progression of their scholarship.
Not eligible to apply
Candidates falling in the following categories are not eligible to apply:
- Children of Government employees.
- Private students.
- Scholarship holders from any other source.
How to apply:
Follow the complete procedure below to avoid any confusion:
- Apply online at the official site www.nb.gok.pk.
- Deposit PKR: 100 at the account number 0109000232321573, United Bank, Chhattar, 2 Mile Branch, Muzaffarabad.
- Fill the application form & attach the following documents:
- CNIC or B-Form.
- Recent passport size photographs.
- Receipt of bank deposit.
- Result card.
- Citizenship certificate of state class-I.
- Cover letter from the Head of the institute.
- After the recommendations of the Head of the relevant institute, post the application form to the said address: Secretariat Higher Education, Block-10, Secretariat Complex, Chhattar 2 Mile, Muzaffarabad.
