Th Punjab Government decided to give scooters to the Female teachers of the public schools across the province. In this regard, there are suggestions to include the Scotties/Pilot projects in the next year’s Budget. Thus, the School Education Department will work on this project.

According to the news reports, CM Hamza Shehbaz held a meeting a few days ago regarding the Punjab Budget 2022. During the meeting, the member decided to distribute the Scotties to the Female government teachers. Punjab Govt took this initiative to assist the female teachers to come to school easily without any hurdles.

Usually, the female teachers are dependent on the others to go out as some teachers use public transport, others use private transport. Thus, to make the females independent, the govt will start the pilot project next year during the Budget 2022-23.
However, the Education Department will sort out the related things such as the Budget for the Scotties, eligible teachers, teachers categories, etc. So, all the decisions regarding the funding and related things will be under the supervision of the Education Department and the Punjab Government.
