ECNEC Granted 13.3 billion to the HEC

According to the statement of GEO news, the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has granted about Rs 13.3 Billion to the HEC. ECNEC provided this grant to the HEC for the Advanced Skill Development Programs.

However, during the meeting, HEC presented a summary of the advanced programs in front of the committee. HEC wanted the provision of Advance skill development through International scholarship Phase-I for postgraduate degree programs. Thus, the ECNEC approved the summary and approved 13.3 Billion rupees for the project.

Advance Skill Development Programs

Before this, in March 2020, the Central Development Working party approved the Advance skill development through International scholarship Phase-I. After that, they sent the summary to the ECNEC for approval. 

Thus, through this program, a lot of students will be able to get international education, especially those who can’t afford. Through this program, HEC will send around 700 master’s and PhD students abroad for the studies.
