According to the details, the interprovincial education minister conference held on January 4th, 2021. The purpose of conducting this meeting is to decide the reopening of educational institutions across Pakistan. In this regard, the Federal Education minister conducted a fruitful meeting. All educational institutes including schools, colleges, and universities shut down on 23rd November 2020 to 11th January 2021. However, the institutions will only open after examining the current situation of COVID-19. In addition to that, the federal minister also discussed other matters regarding health updates of each province, schedule of annual board exams, and reduction in the summer and spring vacations. The minister also clarified that students not promoted to the next grade without giving exams.
Hence, students will wait till 4th January 2021. The minister highlighted that under given circumstances, where the second wave of the novel coronavirus has gripped the country, it is highly unlikely that educational institutions will reopen
