Exams May Postpone But will be Held This Year
According to the details, Sindh Education Minister, Saeed Ghani said that board exams may get delayed this year due to COVID-19. He also said that students will not be promoted to the next class without giving an annual examination. Hence, there is no chance of exam cancellation. Thus, exams will be held this year. As per details, the exams may postpone for two or three months due to the rapid increase in COVID-19.
The sources said that this matter was discussed in the meeting of the National Command Operations Centre (NCOC). However, the decision of closing schools in Sindh recommended by the steering committee for education. A few days ago, Sindh Education Department decided to suspend physical classes till grade 8 of all schools in the province from April 6. Saeed Ghani said that students not allowed to visit schools.
