FDE to Recruit 1000 Teachers
The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) recently announced plans to recruit 1000 new teachers before the next academic session. FDE stated that the directorate would add 1000 teachers to the system for the improvement. However, the Director-General FDE said that FDE has already recruited 337 teachers for the rural schools with complete transparency. At the same time, the FDE will conduct the recruitment test for 250 teachers on 17 April 2022.
The Director-General said that we are not in a shortage of budget, but there are some administrative problems. He said that except for SSTs, the teachers had been promoted. At the same time, they have instructed AEOs to purchase furniture, lab and sports equipment. However, 260 Million has already been spent.

The FDE Director General further said that we had sent the summary for the supplementary grant to the Ministry of finance. He is hopeful that this year, hiring issues will be reduced. He said that FDE has been trying its best to resolve the teachers’ problems and doing so on a priority basis for a decade.
