FDE Decided To Promote Vocational Training Among Students
On Thursday, a meeting between the Federal of Directorate (FDE) & the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) was held. During the meeting, FDE and NAVTTC signed a Letter of Understanding (UoL) at the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.
The reason for this meeting and signing ceremony is to prompt the Technical and Vocational Training among the students of FDE institutes. Through this training, students would learn something more than their regular studies. So, to fulfill this aim, the signing ceremony, held on Thursday, under the supervision of Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood.
Statement on Letter of Understanding (LoU)
According of the Letter of Understanding, the NAVTTC would hold awareness sessions for the students in the FDE institutes. Through these sessions, they will know the importance of Vocational and Technical Training. While the FDE will also provide the space/venue to NAVTTC so that the session could conduct thoroughly.
The signed Letter of Understanding is applicable only for 03 years. After that, the letter will renew on mutual consent with some new terms and conditions.
