15% Special Allowance for Army Officers
We have good news for all the armed officers. According to the latest news, the Federal Cabinet approved to give a 15% special allowance to armed forces. On the recommendation of the Pay & Pension Commission, Finance Ministry proposed to the federal Cabinet to approve a 15% special allowance of armed forces from July 1, 2021.
The Pay and Pension Commission looks into different aspects of salaries and allowances of government employees. The purpose of this is to end a dispute between the federal government. However, the total impact of the special allowance is Rs 38 billion per year. Apart from this, it is also pertinent to mention that the federal Cabinet approved relief measures for the federal government employees for the year 2021-22 on June 11 2021.
