According to the details, the federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood has conducted a meeting with the Inter-provincial committee regarding the closure of schools and colleges. As the number of positive coronavirus cases rapidly increasing in Pakistan and the majority of students get infected with flu and cough. However, the number of deaths is doubling day by day. To protect students from COVID-19, the federal government decided to shut down federal educational institutes from November 25. In a recent interview with Shafqat Mehmood, he said to conduct online classes instead of attending classes from schools. The winter holidays shall start from 26th December to 10th January 2021.
In some schools, there is no proper setup for conducting online classes. So, the federal government ordered students to collect their homework by coming one day at school. There is also good news for students. We feel glad to share that the federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood is going to sign an agreement with Radio Pakistan to promote education for children through radio. According to the details, educational material will be broadcast for 4 hours daily under the radio school from 10:00 AM to12:00 PM and repeat from 2:00 pm to 4:00 Pm.
