The Federal Directorate of Education FDE has recently issued a notification regarding the Summer Vacation in all Educational institutes in Islamabad. According to the notification, all FDE educational institutes will remain closed from 06 June 2022 to 31 July 2022 for Summer Vacation 2022. However, this summer vacation schedule in FDE is only for the students. After the Summer vacation, schools and Colleges will open on 01 August 2022 for the next academic session 2022-23.
However, the FDE instructed heads of all institutes to utilize the summer vacations to manage the following activities in all institutes.
- Admissions according to the issued schedule
- Physical verification of Stock/stock checking
- Repair/Maintainance of building/furniture/playgrounds
However, the Heads can engage the necessary number of staff to manage the said tasks in the institutes (if required).
Besides this, FDE also instructed the Heads and administrative staff to follow the issued official timing. At the same time, the undergraduate classes (BS and ADP) will start according to the schedule.
