The federal government announced open schools from the first week of September. On Wednesday, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood chaired a meeting with the ministers of all other provinces.
In a meeting, all the ministers agreed with the decision to reopen the schools. So, all across Pakistan, the schools will open from September with SOPs.
This suggestion of opening the school will send to the National Command and Control Center (NCOC). Thus, NCOC will take the final decision either school will open in September or not.
It was also decided that if the situation does not go well, then the new schedule will be announced. All decisions and notifications are based on the situation. To understand the situation completely, the government will hold two more meetings before September.
In a talk with Shafqat Mahmood, he said that the administration has to implement the SOPs in institutes after opening the schools.
Before this decision, the government is thinking of reopening universities and colleges and other educational institutes. And the government also gave the schedules, but not any final decision has taken yet.
