Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship 2022-23
HEC has announced the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship scheme for session 2022-23. This fellowship was established by the Research Grant Council (RGC) in 2009. Through this program, talented candidates can pursue their Ph.D. degrees from Hong Kong Universities. However, for the 2022-23 session, RGC will select 300 Ph.D. candidates for the fellowship. However, the selected candidates will get an annual stipend and allowances for three years. Thus, interested candidates can apply for the Hong Kong Fellowship till 01 December 2021.
Universities Offer Hong Kong Fellowship
For the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship scheme, the following eight universities will offer the fellowship to the candidates.
- City University of Hong Kong
- The Education University of Hong Kong
- Hong Kong Baptist University
- The Hong Kong Polytech University
- Lingnan University
- The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology
- Chinese University of Hong Kong
- The University of Hong Kong
Offered Disciplines for the Hong King Fellowship
For the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship, the shortlisted candidates will be reviewed for the area of the subject by one of the following two panels
- Science, Medicine, Engineering & Technology
- Humanities, Social Sciences & Business Studies
Benefits of Hong Kong Fellowship
- Annual Stipend of HK$322 800 (Approx. US$41,400)
- Research-related travel Allowance HK $ 13,500 (US$1730)
