The Higher Education Commission (HEC) started a funding project, the Center of Excellence (CoE)Grant, for the research proposals. For this grant program, HEC invites proposals from the Directors. Head/leads of the centre of excellence. This grant aims to improve the quality of applied/impact-oriented research with a clear strategy. However, for the CoE Grant, HEC will provide Rs50 million to a maximum limit of RS 157 Million funding for the duration of 03 years. Thus, interested candidates can submit their proposals for CoE Grant by 28 January 2022.
Eligibility Criteria for HEC CoE Grant
The eligibility criteria for the Center of Excellence (CoE)grant program are the following.
- Grant is open for all centres of excellence
- Consortium-based Multidisciplinary proposals will have advantages
- Director/Head of the Center of Excellence will be the leader of the proposal
CoE Grant Amount
Under the HEC CoE Grant program, the funding amount will be up to Rs 50 million with a maximum project duration of three years (the budget could increase toRs 157 million).
