The Higher Education Commission (HEC) opened applications for a funding project, the CPEC Collaborative Research Grant (CPEC-CRG) 2022. The commission invited research proposals from faculty members of public and private universities and degree awarding institutes for this program. CPEC-CRG is a key component of the recently launched HEC initiative “Academic Collaboration under CPEC Consortium of Universities. However, the funding amount for the CPEC-CRG is up to Rs 25 Million with a maximum duration of 02 years. Thus, interested faculty members can submit the research proposals for CPEC-CRG Grant by 20 May 2022.
Eligibility Criteria for HEC CPEC-CRG Grant 2022
The eligibility criteria for the CPEC Collaborative Research Grant (CPEC-CRG) 2022 program are the following.
- The principal investigator (PI) must be a faculty member working on a regular/contract basis.
- Universities must be members of the CPEC Consortium of universities.
- The team must include at least one co-principal investigator from Chinese universities and researchers from one or more universities.
CPEC-CRG Grant Amount
Under the HEC CPEC-CRG Grant 2022 program, the funding amount will be up to Rs 25 million with a maximum project duration of 02 years (the budget could increase toRs 30 million).
