HEC-Huawei Seed for the Future Program 2021
Recently, HEC has announced the application for a program, Huawei Seed for the Future, with the collaboration of Huawei Technologies (Pvt) Limited. The announced program is for potential undergraduate students having Pakistani nationality. Through this program, Huawei and HEC decided to conduct six days of online training for the 30 students in the ICT field. However, in the last year, the government sent 87 students to China for two weeks of training on culture and advanced ICT skills.
This year, due to covid-19, the selected 30 students will take online training from 09-16 August 2021 (Tentatively). So, eligible candidates can apply for this program by 27 July 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for Huawei Seed for Future Program
- Candidates having Pakistani/AJK nationality. Candidates holding dual nationality are not eligible.
- Students currently studying in the last year of ICT undergraduate degree (7th or 8th semester) with at least 3.5 CGPA.
- Students who have completed the undergraduate degree in ICT with 3.5 CGPA/4/00 since summer 2020.
- Age must be less than 24 on the closing date.
- Candidates having excellent command over the English language
- Already trained candidates through this program are not eligible.

- HEC will not accept Incomplete or saved applications on the website. So, applications have to complete and submit the applications on time.
