According to the latest notification, it strictly warned all students to stay save from the agent who attested the degree and charge money. After investigation, HEC stated that student must beware of fake HEC stamps/tickets on original degrees and transcripts. All such degrees and transcripts with fake stamps are liable to confiscated when submitted to HEC. HEC plays an important role in education and control all higher educational institutions and Universities. Earlier, they noticed that some individuals posing as agents offer to assist applicants in getting their degrees and transcripts attested. They cheat thousand of students who apply for scholarships, a study abroad, and overseas jobs.
Hence, they stated that all concerned advised to extremely careful in this matter, and follow the prescribed procedure for attestation instead of engaging potentially fraudulent agents. Individuals who want to attest to the degrees should visit the HEC website and follow the procedure mentioned on the HEC website www.hec.gov.pk . Student must be careful and stay away from such fake agents.
