HEC Changed The Admission Policy for University Programs

The Higher Education Commission took a big step and changed the undergraduate admission policy in the universities. HEC announced to end the admission based on the departments. Now, universities will follow the centralized admission policy for BS admissions.

 

According to the new policy, all the universities offered programs centralized merit will form for the undergraduate admissions. The universities will offer the priority list having different fields/programs.

 

Students can choose any 05 departments/programs as their priorities. From the selected departments, they will be able to study in any one according to the selected merit. HEC will prepare and submit all the rules and regulations related to all fields to the universities.

 

The Higher Education Commission has provided the new admission policy to all VCs and rectors of the universities. HEC also asked them to implement this policy soon for undergraduate admissions.

 

HEC also issued the core syllabus for the 23 Subjects of BS, MSc/MA/M.phil. In the published core syllabus, HEC mentioned all the details related to the topics, credit hours, etc. the universities will follow the core syllabus announced by the HEC,
