The Higher Education Commission (HEC) started a program, Textbook Writing Support Program (TWSP) to broaden the Authorship Cadre. Through the TWSP Program, HEC aims to enhance research and development competitiveness and create a strong Authors team in the country. However, for the TWSP, HEC will receive the documents from the eligible authors from 01 July 2022. So, authors can write on the various topics from the HEC-approved curriculum. The interested candidates can visit the HEC website for details. The last date to submit the required documents for the TWSP is 30 June 2023.
Eligibility Criteria for HEC TWSP 2022
- Potential authors who have at least three years of teaching experience in the relevant field want to write the books.
- Faculty members of any Public and private HEC Recognized institutes are eligible.
Topics for the Textbook Writing Support Program 2022
The Authors can write the books on any following topics according to the HEC-approved curriculum.

Eligible Publishers for the HEC TWSP 2022
The interested and eligible authors can publish their books directly to one of the following publishers.
- Taylor and Francis
- McGraw Hill
- Pearson
- Oxford University Press
Financial Incentive for the HEC TWSP 2022
The panel of experts will review the books. After the reviewers’ recommendation, the HEC will offer the following amount to the authors.
- Rs 10,00,000/- for written books at Masters/Doctorate Level
- Rs 8,00,000/- for Bachelors Level Textbook

The Authors can submit the documents for the TWSP 2022 from 01 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.
