For the past few days, the decision of taking admission to Associate Degree Programs has been under consultation. After consulting with the KU senior representative, Karachi University allowed to start admission in Associate degree programs. However, they also mentioned that only those who will get admission in ADP who successfully pass the intermediate. The university’s interim Registrar, Prof. Maqsood Ansar, announced this decision. The student will take effect immediately and only apply to the students who have cleared their inter exams in 2021.
According to the notification, the admission to ADP programs will start on 11 April, and the new session will commence on 20 April. The Karachi University conducts the 2nd batch of 2022. The Karachi University had admitted the first batch of AD programs with intermediate students who had received promotion under the Coronavirus promotion policy. It is also pertient to mention that the annual exams of ADP will held in July 2022. Also, the final exams of BA, BSc, and B.Com and supplementary exams of students from previous batches will start on 20 May.
The annual exams of BA, BSc, and B.Com will held in different phases, with the first phase starting with B.Com exams on 20 May. BA exams will be held in the second and BSc exams in the last phases.
