The illiteracy rate in Pakistan is increasing day by day. After reviewing this issue, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government decided to launch the digital literacy program in schools. Not only this, but they also notify to launch program only in specific schools. In the next three years, they impart training to 2,41,600 students of Grade 6 to Grade 12.This program framed 38 schools of the merged districts and 1170 high and higher secondary schools of the remaining districts. In a recent press conference, Shahram Khan Tarakai stated that the incubation center will set up at each division sector headquarter. Not only this, but KPK Education Minister also establish IT Labs to facilitate students.

They provide training of 6 months. During training, they paid a stipend of Rs 15000 per month. An annual competition will also arranged among these trained students. The winner and runner-up teams would be awarded cash prizes of Rs.20,00,000/ -and Rs 1,00.00,000/- respectively.
