As the coronavirus increases rapidly all over Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s government decided to seal those schools where COVID-19 vaccination among students is less than 99%. KP government ordered to seal all private and public sector educational institutes in the province KPK. The KPK Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai notified Twitter that the provincial government has decided against closing educational institutions despite the surging COVID-19.

However, they also mentioned that the academic session would not interrupt. All schools and colleges required to ensure the Coronavirus vaccination of students aged 12 years and above at the earliest. Not only this, but the Provincial Education Department also launch a special COVID-19 vaccination campaign for the vaccination of students in both public and private schools and colleges in the province. The special vaccination will start from 1st February 2022 and end on 15th February 2022. Those educational institutes that fail to vaccinate 99% of students during the campaign will shut down from 16th February 2022
