ly We have a great opportunity for Pakistani students looking for a foreign internship. The government of Japan announced the internship program for the Pakistani youth. The Japanese government collaborate with Pakistani Youth through the PM Youth Program. The interns will avail the golden chance to work with Japanese companies, particularly Small and Medium Enterprises. Japan is hiring global talent, and SMEs in Japan are facing human resources and financial resources shortage programs. To resolve this issue, METI Japan Internship Program was launched. This aims to support the overseas development of Japanese Small and Medium-Sized companies by hiring foreign university students and global talent.
Japan Internship Types
There are two types of internships which the Japanese government offers. Both are listed below.
A/A2 Course ＋C Course
Small and Medium-sized companies with main business locations in Japan.
(excluding industry associations, non-profit organisations, and local governments).
B/B2 Course
- The internship will be conducted at the intern’s home workspace under the direction and management of the host company’s activities.
- *The host companies will be determined through matching by the program(JIP) office and approval by the screening committee.
- *It is possible to apply for both courses.

In principle, about 1 person per company (maximum 100 companies)

METI Japan Internship Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria can apply
- The candidates must be proficient in English/ Japanese.
- The candidate must be 20 years old and, at most, 40 by 31 August 2023.
- Both male/female candidates can apply.
METI Japan Internship Benefits
The METI Japan Internship give the following benefits to the students.
