National Education Foundation (NEF) made a program for the out of school children of Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir. For this program, the Education Voucher Scheme, NEF, is receiving applications for the following districts.
Districts names
- Islamabad (whole city)
- Gilgit-Baltistan (district Diamir and Istoor)
- Azad Jammu & Kashmir (district Muzaffarabad, Neelam Valley, and Jehlum Valley)
This project/program aims to provide free education to the children of 5-9 years old. According to the project, NEF will provide monthly Rs 500/- for each child to the partnered schools. Schools would not receive any fees or funds from the children.
NEF Partnership with Functional schools
NEF will make partners with those functional schools located in the districts mentioned above, who will fulfill the following requirements.
- Schools must be located in Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir
- There should not any government school around the partnered school, about 02 Kilometers in Islamabad schools, and 01 kilometers in Gilgit-Baltistan and AJk.
- Schools must teach the syllabus according to the local government.
- Schools must be registered from the education Department in Gilgit-Baltistan while from PEIRA in Islamabad.
- Applicant qualification should be intermediate or equivalent, and age would be between 25-60 years.
- Schools must have a minimum of fifty students and 20-25 out of the school children around the school (5-9 years old).
- There must be a minimum of 03 classrooms in primary schools.
NEF Partnership with new schools
NEF will make partners with those new schools located in the districts mentioned above, who will fulfill all the following requirements.
- There should be no private or government schools nearby the partnered school
- Applicant qualification should be intermediate or equivalent, and age would be between 25-60 years.
- Schools must have 02 classrooms and at least 02 teachers.
- Schools must have the necessary facilities for the students.
How to Apply for NEF Education Voucher Scheme:
- Candidates have to fill and download the online form available on the www.mofept.gov.pk
- With the application form, candidates have to send all attested documents to the following address by 20 August 2020.
