Today’s article is about the National Medical Scholarship Fund announced by the Pakistan Medical Council (PMC). This Scholarship Fund is for the students studying in both Private & Public Medical and Dental Colleges.
The Authorities will give this Scholarship to the applicants as Grants & Study Loans or both. The initial funding of this Scholarship is Rs 250 Million or Rs 25 Crore. Pakistan Medical Council to allot Grant to deserving students to pursue their postgraduate programs and research in the medical field.

Remember, these scholarship funds for the deserving & financially unstable students. Such students are not capable of their higher medical studies because of financial crises, irrespective of fulfilling merit criteria. The National Medical scholarship board will look after either the funds are distributed to eligible & deserving high merit candidates or not. Also, they can approach the Federal & Provincial Governments and the private sector to get further grants for the applicants.

Aoa, Sir i have applied for admission in mbbs and bds in govt and pvt medical colleges but fee is nor affordable for my mother as she is single parent When i should apply for scholarship after getting admission or before admission. and how to apply? please guide me earliest
