During his 1st speech after being elected, PM Shahbaz Sharif announced the increments for the government employees’ salaries and pensions. At the same time, the Prime Minister increase the minimum wages rate for labourers. Below are the complete details of all.

Increment in Pay and Pensions

The PM announced 10% increments in the salaries of employees. Thus, those candidates who get up to Rs 100,000/- salaries per month will get benefits from this 10% raise. However, the PM announced a raise in salaries of the govt employees with the effect of 01 April 2022.

Other than salaries, the pensioners will also get a pension with a 10% increment that is also effective from 01 April 2022. 

Increase in Minimum wages

Along with the increments, the Prime Minister also announced increasing the minimum wages for labourers. Thus, now, the minimum wage rate is Rs 25,000 per month.
