Notification of Judicial Allowance
On 22 December 2020, District Announts Office, Vehari, issued a notification about judicial allowances. According to the statement, various subordinate judiciary selected for the Time Scale Promotion (TSP) from BS-16 and BS 17. The department announced this promotion in the notice on 07-09-2020. However, according to that notice, the allowance of those officers was RS 10000/month since their TSP instead of Rs 6000/-.
However, the Finance department also clarified the situation in a notice on 28-01-2020. The department stated that allowances of higher post officers are admissible on a regular basis. However, Time Scale promotion/Upgradation is a type of extension of the pay scale. So, the allowances of the higher post will not be admissible to the time scale promoted. But there is an expectation of House Rent allowances and rent allowances.
