National Testing Service conducts the Graduate Assessment Test (GAT) every year for admissions in MS / M.Phil programs. Students who complete their 16 years of education or Graduation degrees participate in these Tests. Each University has specific criteria for the Graduate Assessment Test. these Tests are valid for two years, and students can appear in the Tests to improve their previous GAT scores.

How to Register for General Assessment Test (GAT) 2023?
If you are participating in General Assessment Test 2023 for the first time, register yourself as per the instructions below:
- The new user can signup or register for GAT through NTS online Registration Portal (http://portal.nts.org.pk/) (one time only).
- Upload the latest photograph in NTS online Registration Portal.
- Download the GAT bank deposit slip from NTS online Registration Portal and pay the fee at the said bank.
- Once you finish the registration, log in to your account and write your personal, academic, and employment information (if any) in the given space.
- Your Roll number slips and result cards will be available on the above website.
- In the academic record part, pen down your major subjects and the percentage of secured marks in two digits only.
- In the academic record column “Board or University,” (please write only particular board names in abbreviations such as FBISE Islamabad, BISE Rawalpindi, or others.
- Select the desired test to apply. (i.e., GAT)
- Select your Test city for said test center choice. (Primary Test city and secondary Test city)
