On Thursday, in the National E-Commerce Symposium held by the Ministry of Commerce, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on E-Commerce. Senator Aon Abbas Buppi, took this decision to establish the E-Commerce University. The purpose of E-Commerce University is to provide employment opportunities for youngsters. who are efficient and skillful in E-Commerce. With the help of E-commerce, they can also increase the country’s exports, resulting in the strengthening of Pakistan’s economy.
Also, the Federal government planning to launch Pakistan’s first E-commerce web portal to eliminate illegal E-commerce in Pakistan. However, this portal will introduce by the Ministry of Commerce in collaboration with the Chinese multinational technology company Alibaba. Senator Aon Abbas Bappi also assured that the federal government would resolve all of their finance, taxes, logistics, and ease of doing business.
