PITB e-Library Mobile Application
Recently, Punjab Information Technology Board announced to launch an e-library mobile application of e-library. Through this app, candidates will read magazines, books, and all related things online.
PITB made this decision after the smart lockdown. Because of lockdown, public and private libraries are closed, so readers cannot read anything. Thus, through this app, they will access the Punjab Digital Library.
MoUs
To complete this process of e-Library, PITB signed the MoUs with various organizations. PITB Director General signed this MOUs on Tuesday in Lahore at Arfa Software Technology Park. He signed this MOU on behalf of the board. So, the organizations are:
- Urdu digest
- Ferozsons
- Afaq
- Hina
- Evolve
- Jagmag
- V-Shine
- Model Mag
- She Magazine
Now, PITB will make an online library with the collaboration of these organizations. So, the application will contain educational and informative digital content.
What will app Contains
The e-Library app will contain books, periodicals, and encyclopedias. Other than that, PITB also provides the paid facility to read the latest publications.
