Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently approved constructing a new campus of Punjab University in Daska. Now, it will be the sixth campus of Punjab University. Before this, there were four campuses of PU in Lahore and one in Khanaspur, Ayubia. The 6th one will be in Daska, a Tehsil of Sialkot.

Below are all the existing campuses of the Punjab University located in different areas.
- In Lahore: Old Campus at Mall road, Allama Iqbal Campus (Oriental College), Quaid-e-Azam Campus.
- Summer Campus in Khanaspur, Ayubia, KPK
However, according to the news, the national treasury will bear around RS 1.5 billion in the construction of the PU Campus. However, it is a piece of good news for the Sialkot and nearby areas. After the inauguration of the campus, the residents will have an opportunity to pursue their studies without going far away from their homes.
