PMC Subsidized Registration Fees for NLE 2021
A few days ago, the medical and dental council arranged a meeting with a group of medical students to discuss the NLE 2021. However, SAPM Dr. Faisal Sultan also attended the meeting on the PMC request. During the meeting, firstly, the students acknowledged the concept and need of NLE Exams. They admitted that these kinds of exams are necessary for the better quality of healthcare services.
However, the council also clarified that passing the NLE exams is mandatory for medical graduates. Thus, all those students who graduate after September 2021 have to attempt the NLE and pass it to get the full license. The council further explained the puppy of NLE exams. The exam is to check the knowledge of the graduates that they learnt from the medical colleges. On the basis of the NLE, they will get the license and be able to treat the patients.
However, after that, the students raised the main problem regarding the NLW fees. They stated that a lot of candidates would not be able to pass the test on the first attempt, which will cause a waste of six months and a registration fee. However, they have to deposit the fees again to retake the exam. The council considered this problem of students and subsidized the fees.
PMC Subsidized NLE Fees Offers
- Those who didn’t qualify NLE in August 2021 will retake the exam for a subsidized fee of RS 3000/-
- Those medical and dental graduates who scheduled the NLE in December 2021 will gain a 100% discount. However, if required for the first take, they will submit only RS 3000/-.
- Those who scheduled the NLE exam in March 2022 will get a 75% discount and will charge a 20% fee (RS 3,000)
- For the June 2022 NE exams, the students will get a 50% discount and RS 6,000/- fees.
