PMC House Job Induction 2022
The Pakistan Medical Commission issued a notification about the House Job Induction 2022. In the notice, PMC instructed all teaching Hospitals to get accreditation and Registration of PMC for offering House Job programs. - The affiliated teaching Hospitals registered with medical and dental colleges have been granted provisional accreditation based on Existing records in phase-I. However, the non-affiliated hospitals undertaking the postgraduate program will get the accreditation. The accreditation will depend on existing records on certification of bed strength by the provincial government.
- In phase II, the provisionally accredited hospitals have to submit the necessary data within three months. Then, after inception, they will get full accreditation and registration.
- Any hospital that wants to undertake the House Job program entirely or in partnership with other hospitals can also apply. The commission will inspect them immediately for consideration of accreditation and registration.
- The commission has notified the list of provisionally accredited hospitals affiliated with registered colleges for House jobs programs.
- A teaching hospital might induct medical/dental graduates holding a provisional license as House Job officers.
- The commission will issue the hospitals list soon that are offering house jobs but are not affiliated with colleges.
- Based on declared resources, a teaching hospital might be accredited for MBBS and BDS (Both) House Job programs.
- There will be no unpaid or low-paid house jobs. All teaching hospitals will pay the stipend to the house job officers according to the notified pay by the provincial government.
- A house job officer will complete the house job from the inducted hospital without any transfer to other hospitals.
