On 01 September 2020, the provincial Coordination Meeting was held to resolve the ETEA test matter. In the meeting, all the members decided to postpone the test. Before this, the decision to delay the ETEA entry test was also approved by PMDC. Now, the ETEA MDCAT test will be on 18 October 2020.
Before this, the MDCAT in KPK has to conduct on 20 September 2020. But, there are lots of students who opposed the decision and demand to extend the time. Students protested that it would be a short time for the MDCAT preparation, and we need more time.
So, their demands are now fulfilled, and the test date has extended until 18 October. Some students also demanded to include the negative marking in the test. Because by excluding the negative marking merit for the admissions in medical colleges increased.
ETEA MDCAT Syllabus
The test will comprise MCQs from the following subjects of intermediate (pre-medical).
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Physics
- English
