The Punjab government announced the Benevolent Fund Scholarship 2023 for deserving candidates of Punjab. The announced scholarships are for the serving/ retired/ retired due to disability/deceased governmnet employees (Gazetted and Non-gazetted) children. Only 02 children of serving/retired employees can apply for the Benevolent fund. However, if any children get an education from special schools, then 03 children of the employees can apply for the scholarship. Thus, students who have passed matric or intermediate and want to enroll in higher education can apply for the scholarship. The eligible candidates must submit their applications to the concerned office by 31 March 2023.
Eligibility Criteria for the Punjab Benevolent Fund 2023
- Students who passed matric or higher degrees with at least 60% marks want to enroll for further education.
- Only 02 children from a family can apply. However, if any family has a special child enrolled in the special schools, the 03 children can apply for the scholarship.
- Deceased government employees’ children are studying in the primary to matric classes and are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Submit a separate application form for each child.
- Private institute students can also apply if their schools are affiliated with the concerned board/universities in 2022-23.

Required Documents for Punjab Benevolent Fund 2023
- Copy of the students’ CNIC/B-form
- Copies of the CNIC of the parents (Govt Employees)
- Copy of the computerized payslip 2022/2023 of the in-service employees
- Attested copy of the pension book PPO (for retired employees)
- Copy of the result card from the board or university (result cards downloaded from the internet will not be acceptable) with a minimum of 60% marks.
How to Apply for Punjab Benevolent Fund 2023
- The Punjab Benevolent Fund Scholarship application form is available on the official website. (http://www.bfms.punjab.gov.pk/).
- Attach the required documents with the application and submit them to the concerned offices.
- Candidates must mention their non-converted contact number on the form.
Offices to Submit the Benevolent Fund Applications
- All Gazetted and non-gazetted secretariat employees will submit the form to the Provincial Welfare fund Board, Alfalah Building, Shahra-e-Quaid-e-Azam, Lahore.
- All non-gazetted employees except secretariat employees to the Deputy Commissioner/Chairmain Distict Welfare Board office of the concerned districts
