Insaaf Afternoon School Program
On 24 June 2021, the Punjab Education Department held the 1st meeting about launching the Insaaf Afternoon School program (IASP). Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas chaired the meeting while SED officers across Punjab attended the meeting.
According to the announcement, the Punjab government will start the enrollment procedure under this program from 01 July 2021. The education minister further stated that the enrollment of regular schools and afternoon schools would be a simultaneous process. At the same time, he also appreciated the administrators for doing a great job regarding enrollments previously.
However, Murad Raas stated that the number of enrollment has been increasing. He said that our purpose is to bring more children to the schools. Thus, the department has assigned the duties and will monitor the whole process time by time.
