The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board issued the latest notification regarding the teaching of Quran Majeed. The latest press release informs all schools to teach Tarjuma-Tul-Quran Majeed from grades 9 to 11. Punjab Curriculum and Textbook also issued a letter to the Director of Public Instructions (Colleges). Not only this, but they also issued a schedule for teaching the Holy Quran to grades 1 to 12. This year, the School Education Department made it mandatory in all schools and colleges to start teaching the Holy Quran. Punjab government added the Holy Quran as a subject in the education system. Not only for senior classes but also ordered to add the Holy Quran subject in the primary classes.
