Quaid e Azam University Islamabad
Quaid e Azam University (QAU) Islamabad is one of the most popular and best universities of Pakistan. QAU was established in 1967 under the name of the University of Islamabad as a public research University, offered only postgraduate degrees. Then in 1980, it started the various programs of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. QAU is not only Pakistan’s best university, but it is also in the list of world’s best universities.
QAU is located on the foothills of Margalla comprising 1700 acres. Currently, the university is under the leadership of professor dr. Muhammad Ali. QAU consists of different faculties, 38 departments, different schools, institutes, and centers. Documents required for the admission
The following documents are necessary for the admission in QAU
- Matric Examination marks sheet or equivalent
- Intermediate examination Marks sheet or equivalent
- CNIC / B-Form
- Character certificate (last institute)
- CNIC of father/ parent/ guardian
- Domicile of candidate/father if the applicant is under 18-years old
- In the case of transcripts/qualification from foreign institutes, marks conversion certificates from IBCC for inter and matric
- Army personal service card/pension book of the parent (children of army personals)
- Foreign citizenship/passport (for foreigners reserved seats)
- Disability certificate & certificate of disability duly verified by the principal medical officer of QAU
- Sports certificates (for the admissions on sports quota)
- Minority certificate by the last institute’s principal (in case of minority reserved seats)
- For the children of advocates/LLB reserved seats, letter of registration for District Bar Association duly verified by the concerned president
