Promotion of PST (Maths/Science) to ESTs
The School Education Department Punjab notified the promotion of PSTs (Primary School Teachers) to ESTs (Elementary School Teachers). The Department provides guidance regarding the promotion of PST to EST. According to the notification, those PTS who have BSC Science/Maths qualifications are eligible for the promotion to ESTs.
So, you can say that PST with BSC Chemistry/Botany/Zoology will be promoted to EST (Science). At the same time, PST with BSc Maths/Physics is also eligible for the promotion. All other PSTs without BSc qualification in the mentioned subjects are not eligible for the promotion. Hopefully, the government will announce the promotion of other PSTs soon.
