Sindh Suspended Private school Registration
In Karachi, the Sindh Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions cancelled the Lyceum School registration. The Lyceum school faced it because of violating the Court order regarding the Pandemic. However, through this step, the studies and future of many students are in trouble now. Thus, in this regard, there is a suggestion that the government should allow the current session to be complete.
Reason of Suspension
According to the statement of Directorate, the schools didn’t follow the rule made during the COVID-19 Pandemic duration. Below are some violations that schools did due to which their registration got cancelled.
- The school didn’t provide 20% fee relaxation to the students during April-September 2020
- The school charged a massive registration fee that is more than the monthly fee of three months.
- However, the school also didn’t follow Article 13 of the Sindh Private schools rules 2005.
Thus, due to the above violations, the Directorate cancels the school registered under article 08 of 2005. However, a lot of students are confused now that they can’t decide which school they will choose for the next studies. As various students have already deposited their registration fee for the August Batch 2021 in the Lyceum school.
