Sindh Public Holiday on 01 May 2021
On 28 April 2021, Sindh Government, Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, issued a notification regarding the holiday on Labor Day. However, the Sindh Government issued it under notification No. CTC/(SGA&CD)/27(04)2006.
Thus, according to the notification, there will be a public holiday across Sindh Province on 01 May 2021. The department has sent a copy of the notification to the concerned departments and authorities in Islamabad and Karachi.
However, in the province, all educational institutes are already closed due to the COVID-29. While in the offices, there are only 20% staff available according to the NCC Decision.
